This dessert recipe is from Kiev, handed down to me.
Prepare knaidlach as you would for soup, make a hole in each with your thumb. Stuff with chopped nuts and raisins which have been mixed with sugar and cinnamon. Boil for a few minutes in sugar water, drain, deep fry and roll in sugar and cinnamon.
Notice: there are no amounts given. A seasoned cook will know how much to use.
