Gourmet Lukschen Jubilee

8 oz. medium noodles, cooked
4 eggs
½ pt. small curd cottage cheese
2 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese
2 cups hot milk
½ cup sugar
1 stick margarine
frosted flakes

Beat cream cheese with eggs. Melt margarine in hot milk. Add everything but flakes to noodles. Blend. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle crushed flakes that have been mixed with a little melted butter or margarine. Bake one hour at 350º. You can serve it with cherry pie filling to which 2 T rum has been added.

A variation of this uses 12 oz. noodles, ½ cup margarine, ½ cup orange juice, ½ cup sugar, 4 eggs, 1 cup golden raisins, 1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling, ½ cup corn flake crumbs mixed with ½ tsp. cinnamon and 3 tsp. sugar, all topped with the juice of ½ lemon. Bake covered for ½ hour, then remove foil and bake 30-45 more minutes at 350º. Makes 15 servings.
